TREND ALERT: From Pinterest to Tumblr, online magazines to proper publications; the combo of marble and copper has been taking the design and style world by storm. Those who love the chic minimalistic look can't help but be drawn to this fearsome fusion of elements. Popping up in apartments of the stylish, elegant townhouses, and more are marble surfaces with copper accents. There's just something about the pairing of two naturally occurring substances. Maybe it's the clean lines, and contrasting sheens and colors that bode so well together, or simply the fact that it looks incredibly clean and sophisticated. Regardless stone and metal just makes sense together. Here are a few of my favorite interiors rocking this trend.

Marble and copper doesn't just look good adorning your walls, but also your hands. The other day I was trying to stone marble my nails but failed (miserably) on a few of my nails. This design was born from my mistake (*cough cough* make sure the water you use is room temp to warm). Frankly I'm happy about it because this look turned out pretty nicely if I do say so myself. Though I would have liked the accent nail to be the ring finger, but ya know, beggars can't be choosers.
For the marbling technique, check out my latest video below! The copper color is Essie's Buy Me a Cameo.
Are you as obsessed with this trend as I am?
